Learning objectives
By the end of this symposium, participants will be able to:
Evaluate current barriers and facilitators impacting the adoption of telerehabilitation and group-based exercise among seniors in the post-pandemic landscape.
Analyse the operational structures and preliminary functional outcomes (MBI, EQ5D, and balance) of two 2025 pilot programs focusing on hybrid care and progressive group therapy.
Develop actionable strategies for integrating wearable technology and structured staff training into clinical workflows to help seniors achieve the recommended 150 minutes of weekly moderate-intensity exercise.

Biography: Sylvia pairs nine years of acute care expertise with six years of community care experience to combat senior deconditioning. Now the clinical lead of the Day Rehabilitation Centre at NTUC Health, she is deeply dedicated to bringing the organization's mission of "Health to Life".

Biography: With five years of experience across acute, community, and geriatric settings, Cyprian specialises in moving healthcare beyond conventional, episodic visits. His expertise lies in implementing home supervision and group therapy to empower clients in their own well-being.

Title: Optimizing Group Dynamics: Doubling Capacity through Structured Training
Biography: Drawing on 11 years of experience in neuro-geriatric rehabilitation and a Masters in Neurophysiotherapy, Chistina is a Senior Physiotherapist passionate about developing staff and students. She has spearheaded a successful project implementing group exercise sessions in our Day Rehabilitation Centres (DRC), expanding from 4 pilot locations in late 2024 to all 21 of our physical rehab gyms with growing client attendance in 2025.

Title: Precision in the Community: Progressive Strengthening and Wearables
Biography: Drawing on five years of experience as a community physiotherapist and a background in Sports Science, Lynn has seen firsthand how integrating athletic principles can benefit seniors. In her work with Team Singapore at major games since 2022, she has honed skills in applying sports science to rehabilitation. This experience fuels her passion for making community-based rehab for older adults both safe and effective.
