Symposium Convenor: Ms Lily Chang Yu-Tzu, Senior Physiotherapist, Singapore General Hospital
Biography: Lily is a senior physiotherapist at Singapore General Hospital with 11 years’ clinical experience across acute and community hospitals, including six years specialising in surgical oncology and lymphoedema. She holds a Masters in Cancer Sciences and advocates integrating rehabilitation into cancer care.
Speaker: Ms Loy Yijun, Principal Physiotherapist, National University Hospital
Title: Prehabilitation in Cancer Care
Biography: Yijun is a principal physiotherapist with 2 decades of practice in the National University Hospital. She has a Masters in Exercise (oncology) and is primarily involved in clinical work in oncology survivorship. She has special interest in geriatric oncology and clinical education.
Speaker: Ms. Hsing Ya Ting, Principal Physiotherapist, Singapore General Hospital
Title: Early Physiotherapy in Acute Oncology Care
Biography: Ya Ting has 9 years of working experience as a physiotherapist, 7 years dedicated to patients with cancer. Her passion is in inpatient acute care and sub- acute rehabilitation.
Speaker: Ms. Vijayalaxmi Chadachan, Principal Physiotherapist, Singapore Cancer Society
Title: Physiotherapy in Cancer Survivorship
Biography: Vijayalaxmi is a physiotherapist and a certified lymphoedema therapist at Singapore Cancer Society’s Rehabilitation Centre. She has over 15 years of experience working with oncology patients in both acute and community settings.
Speaker: Ms. Elizabeth Chan Jiahui, Principal Physiotherapist, Singapore Cancer Society
Title: Physiotherapy in Palliative Cancer Care
Biography: Elizabeth is a principal physiotherapist at Singapore Cancer Society’s Rehabilitation Centre. Prior to that she spent 19 years in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She has a Master of Science in Cancer care and specialises in lymphoedema management, cancer rehabilitation and osteoporosis management.
